Araiso stable
Araiso stable closed after the September 2008 tournament and no longer exists under this name, according to Japanese Wikipedia. The stable was in Kunitachi, Tokyo, and was founded on 27 May 1993 by the 12th Araiso, former ring name Futagodake. It belonged to the Nishonoseki ichimon. Its last wrestler, Arawashi, moved to Hanakago stable, which merged into Minezaki stable in 2012, and the head moved to Matsugane stable, now Hanaregoma stable. The name Araiso was also used by Kisenosato's stable from 1 August 2021, until it was exchanged for Nishonoseki on 24 December 2021.
According to Japanese Wikipedia, at its closure in 2008 it was the only sumo stable in the Tama area of Tokyo (Kunitachi).
According to Japanese Wikipedia, Arawashi Tsuyoshi joined the stable in 2002 and, after it closed, moved to Hanakago stable and later reached the top division, with a highest rank of East Maegashira 2 in March 2018.
