Hakkaku stable

Hakkaku stable is in Kamezawa, Sumida ward, Tokyo. Its head is Hakkaku Nobuyoshi, who wrestled as Hokutoumi and reached yokozuna, the highest rank in sumo. The stable was founded in 1993, when he became independent from Kokonoe stable. According to Japanese Wikipedia, it belongs to the Takasago ichimon. No yokozuna or ozeki is listed for the stable in Japanese Wikipedia. In the September 2026 tournament it had one sekitori, a wrestler in juryo or the top division: Kitanowaka, in East Juryo 6, juryo being the second division.

The stable's own profile page says it has produced 11 sekitori, including Okinoumi and Hokutofuji.

According to Japanese Wikipedia, many shikona in the stable use characters from the master's own ring names, and wrestlers from the Oki Islands get the character 隠岐.
