Nakagawa stable

中川部屋

Nakagawa stable no longer exists: the Japan Sumo Association decided to close it on 13 July 2020, and its wrestlers moved to six stables. It was formed in January 2017 as a continuation of the former Kasugayama stable. Its head was the 15th Nakagawa, Masuda Kenji, who wrestled as Asahisato and whose highest rank was maegashira 14 in makuuchi, the top division. According to Japanese Wikipedia, the stable belonged to the Tokitsukaze ichimon after moving from the Isegahama ichimon in December 2016. No yokozuna (the highest rank in sumo) or ozeki (the second-highest rank) is listed for the stable in Japanese Wikipedia.
