Tatsutagawa stable

立田川部屋

Tatsutagawa stable no longer exists: it closed after the September 2000 tournament, when its head reached mandatory retirement, and its wrestlers moved to Mutsu stable, which absorbed it. According to Japanese Wikipedia, former yokozuna Kagamisato, who left Tokitsukaze stable, founded it in September 1971 as the 13th Tatsutagawa; yokozuna is the highest rank in sumo. The 14th Tatsutagawa, the former Aonosato, inherited it in February 1988 and set it up in Iidabashi (Chiyoda), then later moved to Shinkoiwa (Katsushika). Tokitsukaze ichimon was its ichimon when it last existed.
