Goeido Gotaro

Goeido Gotaro, born on 6 April 1986, is a former professional sumo wrestler from Osaka Prefecture whose highest rank was ozeki, the second-highest rank. After making his professional debut in January 2005, he used the ring name Goeido from November 2006, having previously competed under another shikona, a ring name. Winning one championship in makuuchi, the top division, he compiled a record of 696 wins and 493 losses over 90 career tournaments. As an active wrestler his last stable was Sakaigawa stable, and he retired in January 2020.
